Taken last year on 5th May, this is Worms Head (on the Gower coast) at sunset. I took this from the causeway as the tide was coming in. The water was swirling around the rocks creating ever changing pools so I had to keep my wits about me as I dashed around trying to take advantage of the different compositions, not to mention not getting my feet wet! Having said that, this particular shot emphasises the sky rather than the pools. Worms Head is well known as a great location to photograph sunsets, but I’d never tried photographing it from the causeway before this. It’s probably stating the obvious, but if you fancy trying this yourself, make sure you don’t get cut off by the incoming tide. As you can probably tell from the photo, I wasn’t too far from the shore. |
