Partial Solar Eclipse

A few shots of the partial eclipse of the sun on 31st May 2003, taken from Swansea, from 5:14am to 5:35am, using my Canon G3 with and without the telephoto adapter (equivalent to 245mm). I wasn't in the best part of the country to witness the eclipse and I didn't expect to see much anyway due to the thick bank of low hazy cloud, but I went out regardless and was lucky to get a few reasonable snaps.

Overlooking Morriston
Very hazy clouds at sunrise, and a fog filled valley.
Hazy Sunrise
A blurry shot through the haze. Moon on left, distant summit below, (possibly Pen y Fan 26 miles away.)
Cloud Sun
A darker cloud briefly strays across the sun's path.
Eclipse over Morriston Nearing the end
As the sun gets higher and brighter I darken the exposure.
That's it
The end of the partial eclipse, and a nice deep red sun as viewed through the haze.
